Forgiving

I think the soldier who's commander told him to kill a mother and child, should be forgiven.  An example of this tragedy is when a soldier driving a military truck ran over a mother and her child.  This was found on the internet on a website that I can trust.  This is a forgiving situation because it wasn't the soldiers fault it was the commanders fault for telling him to kill them.

  1. just because a commander tells a soldier to do something doesnt mean he has to do it. he has the choice to say no and because of that, he should not be forgiven for this. would you forgive him if it was your wife and child that he killed?

  2. Since the soldier took a life, even though he was commanded to, do you think he is still worthy of forgiveness? How can the soldier say that the lives of the mother and child are any more valuable than his or the country/ commander he is fighting for?

  3. True, the solider had no choice but to do but what he was told. Im sure the he didnt want to do it but if he wasnt to do what he was told, then that probly would of been his life.
